As a basis for this amp, I decided to use a Fender Vibro Champ, a 5-6 watt amplifier that acts much like my previous Deluxe Reverb Build. To try and spice this build up, I decided to add a Fender two tube reverb circuit to this build, as well as create my own PCB for the amp. This is one of my main reasons for wanting to build this amp as opposed to many other amps on the market. I also wanted to add my own sharkbomb touch on this amp, and that is where the fender two tube reverb circuit comes in. This amp is extremely quiet (meaning it is playable at bedroom levels) and still gets the wonderful tube breakup sound that one would get from a vintage fender. This amp acts much like my fender Deluxe Reverb amp, just at quieter levels. It has the same reverb circuit and an extremely similar tremolo circuit. If you want to see more on why I love blackface amps so much, check out my blog post on why I chose to build the Deluxe Reverb that I built.
