This pedal is the quintessential analog chorus pedal used by players from John Mayer to Eric Clapton, to even potentially Jimmy Page. This pedal was quite easy to build but quite difficult to troubleshoot. Lets get into talking about what made this build so tough!
While the build went quite smoothly, the troubleshooting process was extremely difficult. The first thing I did was probe the LFO to make sure this was working properly. When I determined it was working correctly. Next, I posted this project on the pedal PCB forum, and an eagle-eyed member pointed out to me that one of my values was off in the clock stage. When removing this cap, however, I must have accidentally cut a trace because this is what the problem ended up being. After some more troubleshooting and measuring, I figured out that a trace must have been cut. By doing some continuity testing around the clock, I found the trace that was cut and bridged it with the white wire that can be seen in the gutshot.
